This is an exploratory course in mechanical drafting which leads to National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers five common competencies that a grade 7 and 8 Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) student ought to possess namely:  1) Use of tools, materials at equipment;  2) Performing measuring tools and their application;  3) Apply freehand drawing or sketching; 4) Determining the different stroke in lettering;  5) Color Harmony. 

The preliminaries of these exploratory course include the following; 1) Discussion on the relevance of the course;  2) Explanations of the key concepts relative to the course and;  3) Exploration on career opportunities.

It covers the latest technology innovation utilizing actual graphics and images for easier understanding and lesson visualization. TECHNO 1- COMMERCIAL COOKING




Cookery is one of the areas in Home Economics in Technology and
Livelihood Education which is taken by High School Students in the K to 12
Curriculum. This is an exploratory course taken during Grades 7 and 8 along
other areas in the technical-vocational track to give students the opportunity
to choose their line of interest and proceed to their specialization in Grade
9.



Exploratory Courses in Cookery cover five common competencies that Grade
7 and 8 TLE Students must have, namely: 1) knowledge of use of tools and
equipment and paraphernalia; 2) maintenance of tools, equipment, and
paraphernalia; 3) performance of mensuration and calculation; 4) interpretation
of technical drawings and plans; and 5) the practice of Occupational Health and
Safety Procedures (OHSP).

It covers core competencies,namely: (1) cleaning and maintaining kitchen premises, (2) preparing appetizers, (3) preparing salads and dressings, (4) preparing sandwiches, (5) preparing desserts, and (6) packaging prepared foods.

PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES & WEBPAGE DESIGN




This subject prepares you to develop
basic programming skills and concepts which focuses on helping you to understand
computer networks, operating systems, algorithms, database systems and web
design. A general introductory course which covers Hypertext Markup Language
(HTML), Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript and Visual Basic .Net.



The subject also helps you to develop
your 21st century skills such as creativity, critical thinking, problem
solving, collaboration, flexibility, technology literacy, and media literacy. These
skills will be very essential in your life as students and young adults who are
preparing for the challenges of the ever changing and challenging world.

         The TLE exploratory course focused
on the basic competencies to Mechanical Drafting Grade 7 and 8. It covers
the: 1. Use and maintenance of tools, materials, and instruments; 2.
Preparation and interpretation of freehand drawing and technical drawing; 3.
